This fundraiser is a ticketed event showcasing the history of Downtown Waterloo! This year, we are thrilled to bring you something new! Tour De Loo: A Scavenger Hunt is an interactive experience that combines history, adventure, and a friendly competition.
In collaborate with the City of Waterloo's Historic Preservation Commission we will not only showcase Downtown Waterloo, but celebrate the work in historic preservation throughout our city.
Join us on May 15th from 5:00-8:00PM for Tour De Loo and discover the history behind several locations, have a fun night out with friends, and witness how much Downtown Waterloo has transformed over the past year.
Throughout the event, participants will be given a series of historic photos of Downtown Waterloo. Your task? Find the exact spots in the district where these images were taken. With each match, you will uncover the fascinating facts about the past, making this the perfect blend of learning and fun. Following your search, culminate your experience with an after party and awards ceremony at the Sullivan Brothers Museum, complete with snacks, a program, and the chance to win prizes!
Tickets are available for $25 for a team of 2. Remember - it's a scavenger hunt, not a spoiler alert! Secret locations will be revealed along the way, with check in and ticket pick up information emailed the week of the event. Let the adventure unfold.
